The first full-length release of Mordheim reminds me a bit of Drowning the Light and I bet it will do the same to you. The same bleak production, more old-school than old-school will accompany you to these 47 minutes and, well... let’s just say that you’ll be looking for more once this ends. Slowly it seems that we have a scene with bands that deliberately use low-fi productions and lots of space in their music to create exotic atmospheres.
Mordheim with this release are one of the leaders of that scene, which includes bands like the aforementioned Drowning the Light and Striborg, amongst others.
Let’s just see what they will offer us next.
