Review pick out from Paens of Hate #4 (greece)

This split tape starts with All the Cold and their usual as it seems Ambient intro. After that I get a huge disappointment as I expected different things from them, instead they offer some very-very lo-fi experimental tracks that will make you wonder “but why?”...
Too bad I expected a lot more after hearing their first demo.
On to Mordheim then. The one man band of Comte Faust von Vlachfölds from France plays some very raw Black Metal in this release that will remind you a lot of Drowning the Light and other such bands.
Both tracks he offers us here an excellent and unique at times and you should probably get this release just for them.

Review pick out from Funeral March Zine #6 (finland)

All the Cold is first out on this split. At first I am not impressed, but after some songs I come to like it. It is raw and filthy but it also has an atmosphere that lifts it a little from the otherwise depressive sound, it still feels melancholic though, but on another level. Some songs aren't that good though but when it is good it is really good !
Then we have Mordheim, very raw and naked black metal. I don't know if I like this or not... It not band but not awesome either, I would have liked it more if the sound was different I guess. It feels rather chaotic as well. The second song is better though, it is heavier and darker. One ok song and one good song here !
O.O.
